AlohaWell, Martin does this as a labour of love, it's not his day job. They are fibreglass, and once he has constructed the mould, the manufacture is fairly straightforward, unlike say JLH's devices. So you are not paying for audiophile...

Me again..In my search for another jbl 2482 I chanced upon a Yamaha JA6601 Driver. http://picasaweb.google.com/jbjbjbjbjb/YamahaJA6601It looks very similar to the one that produces these amazing response plots on the Azura 204 horn.http://www.azuraho...

Hi Romy,
Unfortunately I have never arrived at a fully integrated horn system - but I have mostly enjoyed the attempt. I think those who buy my horns (Azurahorn) are, like me, working on the deeper task. I actually ke...

Hi Skushino, hope you dont mind me jumping on to your old thread, but I can upon it while looking for ideas re chamber volume and compression ratios for the same Faital driver into a 160hz Azurahorn. Could I ask how you were using yours? Ta,K.S...

Wojtek,Can you tell us the size of the 204hz Azurahorn?I am pretty sure that the 550hz horn is around 15" in diameter. AH-425 is the model number. Please correct me if I am wrong....

OK this is with a digital XO, I'm wondering whether most of you would bother to low pass a 800-10k Radian mid in a 425hz Azurahorn, which hands over to a 10K+ tweeter?I've read that playing too high for a particular horn has some sort of dissadvantag...
I use regular Lowther DX4 (ENABLED) . I don't think the 250-400 is stellar and I'm still waiting for the extension to try small throat for lower midrange (2,75") (B&C 8P21E driver) for 200-1000Hz .
Look...

romy, you said, you would place a 60hz midbass on the side, is this still your opinion? of, course i found no other solution in my small room. will do it the way you suggested, 60-300, 300-1000(thinking about gpa 288h(s2 is too expensive for me), may...

RomyThis topic is relevant to me currently as I am attempting to get a 750Hz low-pass into a valve (tube) amp that is driving a bass section ( Supravox 285GMF in an Onken cab ).I have run through a few options in my head but can see various problems....

Yes, KS, you heard correctly. Since you use digital XO you shall know that one of the main principles of digital processing is quantization. Quantization is dividing of a signal flow upon minute discrete symbols. Each quanta symbol of quantization i...

James, I am not familiar with those drivers. You might inquire at the sites that specialize in audio archeology, like AudioHeritage.com and others. They most likely know who made for Yamaha that driver. However, there are a few thighs that I wo...
If I were in your situation and have 2m long 100Hz horn that
I like then I would not dive into any 200Hz la-horns. Make your 200Hz horn up-to
