...with an Ortofon 10, sold it and got a Benz Pearl....neither of these are high end by any stretch, but the Ortofonwas way noisy compared to the Benz...beats me.I'm using an older Luxman PD277 TT, what do you think it would cost to really make an up...

I know Micro Seiki made some turntables with vacuum hold-down. Some branded Luxman were produced by MS too. Then there is Basis and the new TechDas. I have a Versa Dynamics 1.2 and when John ran out of mats I worked with him to find a new supplier...

Romy can you tell us what you thought of the Zu loudspeakers, I spent an afternoon in their company recently, they were being used with a 25 watt PP Luxman, I believe.
