Conclusions on my Home audio playback- Am I HiFi deaf?
fiogf49gjkf0d
Hola
As in High-end audio world we don't have our HiFi doctors arrived yet; I think it is best to share here
I am trying to describe my disease symptoms ...
-The word HiFi, High-end,  do not erect me anymore.
-I avoid myself try making any changes on my playback.
-Do not even care about my playback sound.
-and at best I Listen 2 hours a day on my laptop flac archives with she9800 headphone.

I say I still have the sense of knowing  the sound I like, but it has shifted toward listening on my headphone than my room playback
and I radically have nightmares of having a house in middle of desert with absolute silence and a minimalistic playback which can perform well.

You are playing by yourself too much...

Sounds like you just need to take a break from your hi-fi. Perhaps go and listen to some live music. When you come back you may find you know better what it is that needs to be changed.

I see no problems.

I do not see why high-end shall be about making any changes in playback or abstract care about playback sound. High-end audio is about erecting higher end requirements to playback’s efforts. If you have no interest or desire to use the playback’s means to accomplish more and if low-end means satisfy what you are looking then it is not sign of any disease. If you a philatelist and I have no interest in it than can you blame me that I do care about stamp collecting?  I have absolutely no problem with people having no interests in High-End audio or no interests to use audio methods to add value to own listening experience. I do not think that you are symptomatic in any ways.

It's because your system sounds crap to you and you have no hope to cure it. It happens also when nobody gets interested in your sound!
Go to some Hi-Fi stores listen to music over there, then come back home drink some good wine lite a cigar and listen to your system in next door.
Hopefuly this will cure the problem.

I disagree.
-My system does not sound crap. It certainly does interest me but it is not the matter.
-And I haven't lost interests in sound but maybe opposite.
If you read carefully I say HiFi playbacks doesn't turn me on anymore. I rather see a naked whores playing doctor on a Hi-Fi store.

saying : Go to some HiFi stores listen to music over there, then come back home drink some good wine lite a cigar and listen to your system in next door.

Is that your routine life or your HiFi disease disaster ?

I absolutely do not understand what the subject is all about; probably I have to stop trying to understand. What Hi-Fi store has to do with interests in audio? If you have no interests and something does not turn you on than why shall you fight with your feeling? It is what it is. There is a bigger question if you ever had any interests in audio besides going to the Hi-Fi stores but this is slightly different subject and sine we all do not know each other than there is no need to talk/think about it. I have a local guy who for year was one of the Audiogon authorities in audio. He is very nice guy, had big and expensive playback and over the year when I told him that he has absolutely no idea what audio might be all about he did not get what I was saying. 5 year from then and he has no playback, has no interests to listen anything even among the crap the he use to listen and he is doing gold full time nowadays. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it in my mind. He does what pleases him. There are a lot of accidental people in high-end audio and if people return to “civilian” life I see no problems with it.

Unico I must admit that I got you wrong-I thought you were about your own system. But why are you so overreacting? Calm down amigo.
By mentioning Hi-Fi store I wanted to say go and listen to real crap sound-where you can easily find in Hi-Fi dealers-then come back home and listen to your own sound in peace of mind.
