Here is a nice performance of another remarkable "chamber-scale" work that musically transcends its genre. Although there is no setting aside the biographical context/content of this particular piece, I will leave the research here to avid music lovers. "Modern"? "Romantic"? You decide.
The musicianship is great; the performance is "different" without being about being different, and the recording is good enough to enjoy the performance.
