I have to think about this one, Romy.
I use frontloaded horns , and much prefer a controlled
horizontal coverage angle, fairly narrow in my case.
At least down to at least 250Hz , or so.
Below that the wavelengths get so long that most practical speakers
start to balloon out anyway. Even if they are horns.
