This was noted on the Yahoo FMtuners site and is an interesting, fast read on compression at WCRB:

Uncompressed stream?
fiogf49gjkf0d

I got email from the site’s visitor this morning with information about the Seattle pop station and I have sent the following email to the guy who runs WCRB:

Interesting, in Seattle the station that broadcasts essentially crap went uncompressed stream:

I wonder how long would it take for a leading East Coast station that broadcasts much more sophisticated music, including live music, to endorse the same streaming approach? Why WCRB is not leading in this?
