I signed up just to listen to a rare performance of Ancient Voices of Children by George Crumb and not from any sonic expectations BTW. One annoyance was a few pauses from a streaming glitch.

Wify for a few months harasses me that I stop to spin my records and should switch to idagio.com. I can not believe that we allow women to vote!   Nevertheless a few days ago I went to Idagio from my DAW and was surprised with the amount of music, volume of catalog and with quality of lossless quality of streaming. I do not claim that Idagio delivers the same sound as I get out of my TL0 but it is very good for casual listening. It is $10 per month, not expensive but very convenient, might be more? I'm saying, main reason people "don't like records" is that playing records requires too much fiddling around, and too much attention while fiddling. My wife hates it when I look over her shoulder, and she is not interested in "learning how to do it correctly", either. People these days don't do CDs or even digital downloads so annoyance with fiddling with anything has gone far beyond vinyl. I also can't believe that wivss or anyone else really now suddenly want to play vinyl except for the inconvenience. I can understand them not wanting a guy to have any hobby outside of themselves and their honeydo list. If you make it your paying job or a good source of income then they might be cool with it. No offense ladies!
