These might spark an idea (cable insulation must be of a quality that will remain flexible over time):

I came up with a number of my ides (my leading idea is illustrated below) but all of then used springs and it never came to me to use gravity. I will think something among those lines as well, in fact the gravity idea I feel less complex and most likely will work better during winter. I like the first illustration that is very simple and effective, I have a lot of roiling blocks left from the antenna rising and I will use them. From other side they are metal and I guess for this implantation I would need some kind non-rusting blocks. I sure it shall be some kind of fully plastic blocks.

It is not fully extend, I have 4 more feet to go but I absolutely do not need it but it good to have some reserve. The reception situation will change with change of weather, leaves, snow etc but I feel that I can handle it now.

Hurricane Irene ibn Oz in Boston
fiogf49gjkf0d
It looks like Irene will hit us on Sunday, it look like it loosing strength but they still promise up to 90 miles per hour gusts. If it so then I will spend Sunday handcuffed to my new antenna and if it will be flying away then only with me. I can clearly see that my antenna with me and my Cat Toto will lend in some kind Kansas meeting killing some kind GOP nominee for US president. This is in the worst case, in the best case I will be listening the closing of the Tanglewood season. For now I am thinking if not to put some temporary guy wires….
