Chris, I certainly did not mean “costs nothing" in the literal sense. I meant that it costs as much as any other driver to make that Feastrex. Come on! If it is an electromagnetic driver then how much does it cost to make a few pounds of core (even i...

I don´t wonder at all that they achieved the best results with traditional Washi and not with modern paper. The only material that comes close is Nepali Lokta paper. And labour cost are near to nothing there. Would be funny to fight against...

Its interesting to see that RAAL are now representing Feastrex for many countries in Eastern Europe. I wonder if they intend to create something using both types of driver!...

I'll try to make some comments on Feastrex Sound in this post. It is always difficult for me to isolate the sound of the individual parts I want to analyze. Like in this thread, which has partly evolved into the effect of all pe...

I wrote a few weeks ago a typically-pissed article about hypocrisy and lie in audio and how you, the fools, allow it exists in audio, despite that we would hardly permit it to exist in our “out of audio live”. I did not posted this article yet but an...

I have looked at the Feastrex website. The picture you show is of one of their permanent magnet drivers. This uses their Naturflux magnetic circuit. Mr Akiyama's quote also refers to one of these permanent magnet drivers so you shouldn't be atta...

[quote user="guy sergeant"] You do make me laugh sometimes! You really do seem to have problems in seeing the merits in anything if it doesn't fully satisfy the very particular performance criteria you set. As a species such inflexibility wouldn't al...

OK, thanks. I would leave for others to decide what the “higher resolution image” might mean. It might be some kind of untranslatable Japanese folklore. The more vibrant color palette is definably a valid accomplishment, no one knows through if it is...

Thanks, tuga, I never visited Feastrex site, in fact I thought that it is not available in English. In reality the Feastrex site is fine and gives quite eloquent information about Feastrex product and the Feastrex views. In the Testimonial...

Ok, Chris, I will take a bite. I do agree that some of my judgments, particularly those that violate the other people’s desire to hear specific agreeable things from me, do derive from my inherent character defects. However, my handicap judgment perm...
