That 8233 might do it. Also noticed the 6CL6 in triode mode will get you almost there, but only a mu of 20. The 6688 could be a substitute.jh...

Jim, Isn’t it the same as the famous European E55L? If so then it is a very popular in certain circles tube and it is a good driver. I never tried it myself though and I can not comment about it sonic signature or how to use it. BTW, the way how you ...
