Internet and electricity

Hi, anyone sending their internet connection around the house via the electrical cables (CPL in french)? It would make my life a lot easier if I could do that but was wondering if it would have an impact on  the hi-fi sound. I can't really try before buying I don't think. I hope that's not a really stupid question. Thanks,R Weissman

Suboptimal. . .

Hi Rony,

Not a dumb question; wifi and CPL internet connections are suboptimal when near audio systems. By coincidence, last night I bumped into the following post which walks through one person's view on "electric gremlins" he found at 470hz (etal.) from a power company's control tone:

The poster, DarqueKnight, also posted his treatise on the effects of some cables, electric outlets, power regenerators, fuses, etc. I will leave it to you to interpret his postings.
