All the fighting with all the equipment and all the formatting...

Is 7 1/2 ips tape totally out of the question these days?  It's been a long time since we did it this way, but I do not remember it being all that difficult, or that bad.  It's got to be as good as most digital, doesn't it?

Sure, the "files" are bulky, etc., but if the good RAW files can't really be shared for practical reasons anyway...

Meanwhile, all this talk about FM is like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous", since programming here is so poor.  It is only infrequently that I hear anything local worth paying attention to.
