I'm giving myself high fives today for nearly solving the broken piano sound in the room. :-)
I'm not sure what fixed it, but I believe it to be a shelf half filled with records + two sofas and a carpet.

There is room for improvement but it is a giant leap ahead. Goldberg Variations are more enjoyable than painful to listen to!!!


The next big problem with sound here I think is a difference in sound level between upper bass and MF/HF.
Upper bass seems louder (and ought to be). Would you help this electronics-handicapped guy to pad down the upper bass horn with for example 6dB? Do I just put a resistor before the coil?

Here's what the passive crossover looks like now:

The MF/HF horn is loaded with a Fostex (8 ohm), and upper bass with Fane Studio 8M (16 ohm)
