Thanks, Robin. I actually do most of my listening while lying in bed, at night. I set up the radio where I can reach it (no remote), and I get the stations I want well enough with the built in antenna. I did not find much online, but I was hoping I could keep some slack in the headphone cable if I went with shielded cable. Last night I finally just draped the cable away from myself and the radio/antenna, and that fixed the worst of the reception/sonic issues, albeit there is not much slack in that cable now. I suppose longer cable would be its own problem, probably shielding, as well. Gotta love hi-fi!
