As you have said, Romy, these drivers aren't playing your (or my) idea of Bruckner, at least not as stand-alone FR speakers. Listening to their demo/proof music, I think Bruckner was probably not a big consideration for them. They are basically claiming to be "the best yellow driver", and in that world, guided by the demands that feed that stream, they might be in the running. That none of these folks will concede that their (nominally) 8" drivers won't do LF seems laughable to me, but they keep straight faces as they show off what their drivers can do, and the market for the small "FR" drivers/speakers seems healthy by hi-fi standards. How many giagantic piles of large, heavy drivers have I heard at shows and in salons spewing garbage that is really no better than what we have heard from these? This is where our own imaginations come in, to "hear past" the poor, musically bereft demos to discover something we can put to "good use" by making it work for ourselves.
