Bill, it's hard for me to accept that Clark's first visit may have been in 2008(!), but terse emails from Clark suggest this may have been the case. He mentioned that he liked to visit in San Diego after the CES. He did suggest that I go to CES, but I hate Las Vegas, and I'd rather go to the dentist. Another visit was in 2010. Anyway, looks like what I "remembered" as "several years ago" was a decade and a half ago...
