At dinner tonight, we had internet radio playing and a J.S. Bach Motet "Komm, Jesu komm" BWV229 came on. I stopped eating (my wife was not happy, fortunately this does not happen often). The reading was so complete, expressive, clean. Even although they sang very articulately, the words were not necessary to understand. I was not familiar with the group.
For any that are interested, the group is "Vocalconsort Berlin". The album is "Johann Sebastian Bach: Motets". The conductor is Marcus Creed. Harmonia Mundi.
