Dragged the Delta inside today and plugged a single DSET into it. Startup went ok but I was a little worried when the second stage caps started filling and Delta momentarily spiked at over 2kW draw. Once the amp was fully started draw settled at 330w and the display indicated about 3 hours of power for the amplifier.
Major drawback of these battery banks is the fan noise from the inverter producing the AC...too loud for a listening room. Other than that it all worked for a few hours until the batteries ran out of puff. Sound was ok, not saying any better or worse, I was otherwise occupied. It should be put in another room if someone decides to go this way, and if you have a system that needs less juice to operate. May be ok for source components, but I have not tried.Rerurn to Romy the Cat's Site
