I guess the first step is to determine the audibility of K2 at the frequencies being reproduced. Then comes the trick pony if the audibility hurts or benefits playback. Is K2 even a problem?
What will inevitably come up is that you will have to engineer a horn for a specific driver, or a driver for a specific horn to manage "K2". Will the "managed system" sound better?
I would suspect that multiple engines will have issues in horn loudspeakers as the engines are not identical.
Considering that there are huge problems with most speakers before we even get to K2 (time alignment, lobing, room interface, dispersion, phase), I would question the priority in any case.
