Do you have an idea about what could cause "ripped" CDs to sound bad and is there any way that these problems you mention could be solved or minimized? Did you also reach the same conclusions by "ripping" CDs with your DAW and playback? I ask this because I am about to move to a different country where I'll be living for the next 3 years and have started ripping all my CDs to avoid having to take them and the system along with me (who knows if/when I'll be back). I don't have a D/AC at the moment and can't really get one until I sell my current system. |
