I wanted to compare a LP pressed at 33 1/3 and 45 RPM of the same music..To listen for any pinched effect or inner groove compression & distortion..Two identicle turntables and arms plus switching at phono preamp gave me the tool needed for this type of audition,, also I had the Master Tape and tape recorder as the 3rd sorce all three than could be evaluated... It becomes obvious to how much in processing a LP losses its accurosity as compared to the master,,, Recording DIRECT TO DISC,,eliminates & reduces some of the problems but traceing fidelity is still obvious.....As for as remote control,,, Remember the Russion SOYUSE docs to the Space Station remotely...
