The benefits of treating wire are not truly debatable – put in this way I would not debate it. My interests is not to debate the benefits but rather to be able to confirm that atoms were aliened by cryo treatment. You are right – none of the wire manufactures have cryo equipment but cryo treatment is not really unique or difficult procedure. There are many companies who perform cryo treatment and all that it takes is just to send the thing out. It is not expensive BTW. I have a company who proposed to me to cryo my entire 6-chanals Melquiades, along with all tube and power supplies…. Still, I am not sure that the small cables companies do it. If we deal with some kind of Nordost that make tone of commercial wires then for them to send a few hundred miles of wire to a cryo-vendor is truly negligible expense or efforts. The small cable maker who sell a few cable for month – I am not sure that they have volume to make a cryo treatment reasonable for them. If I send one single 1M cable to my local cryo vendor then they would charge me perhaps $7-$10, which will be most of the handling fee. The $7-$10 is the self-cost of 95% high-end cables out there. So, why a cable maker would go into such expanse if he knows that there is no ways to confirm that the cable was or was not cryogenically treated?
