... as I also found something VERY similar, Roman... the truth is in the sentence "... bass-shy in full range..." as a full-range cable is equalized for 20-20khz and - you'll agree on this - the ULF frequencies of your system aren't so common, around... thus, a playground for theories and, most of all, MUCH interesting findings, like yours... and my own.

I would like to report that none of them hold ground as dedicated bass cables. In short the best bass cables for full-range are too bass-noisy for dedicated bass amplification. The best audio cables for bass are the cables that are very lean and very bass-shy in full range. Invigorating!

In fact  the best cable among all cables that I own that I use for bass and that produce the absolutely best  bass for my ULF is a chip plastic  molded cable that probably cost $5. Not of the expensive high end cables can even remotely approach the lower notes articulation that my cheap molded cable has.

Industry hi-end standard is, too often, "machist" - i.e. low end? Go for the bulkiest, fattest cable... as you pointed out, it's not the case and simply untrue; to my knowledge, only Supra from Sweden covered, in their white-papers, the topic, against false myths, with humbless and a no-frills approach.

Thanks for giving a voice to the elusiveness.
