I wonder, who would spend a significant amount on any phonostage that did not offer a coherent, easily-repeatable variety of playback curves?

I do not get Stereophile and I do not know anything about Vitus MO-P201 phonostage . It might be a good device but knowing that Vitus selected idiot-Framer to promote their products really turns me off from this company.

I did not saw fremer review about vitus phonostage , It seems vitus have no relation with stereophile magazine and i think another magazine wrote about vitus phonostage.

Vitus is a good company between market companies, i listened to their amplification and are the most linear between ss designs. very very good micro dynamic and velvet texture. It's the only ss design that sound correct and emotional to me.
they make 25w/50w/100w class A no feedback push pull amplifier. they never produced over 100w and their amplifier sound is quite different from other solidstate designs.
